As you all know, dining and snacking is one of my favorite parts of any Disney World vacation. But, snacking is often over looked among st the rush to get as many ADRs as possible 180 days before your trip. So, I wanted to put together this article for five tips that will help you snack throughout your trip!

Tip #5 – Sample free sodas at EPCOT

If you’re feeling a little warm over at EPCOT there’s an easy way to avoid shelling out a few beans for a soda. Stroll over to EPCOT’s Club Cool where you can sample – for free – Coca Cola sodas from around the globe. To be fair, though, some of the beverage options may be a little exotic, but you should be able to find at least one that’ll whet your whistle and give you the cool boost you need.

Tip #4 – Build your own sweet creation

Glancing in all the windows of those delicious Disney World snack shops only to feel a yearning in your heart for something different? Well, there is a place for you. Head over to Goofy’s Candy Company and you can create your own sweet treat entirely from the ground up. The only downside here is that Goofy’s Candy Company is located outside the parks in Downtown Disney, but if you’re a sweet tooth aficionado, then it could be worth the trip over.

Tip #3 – Save your budget for souvenirs

Everyone gets hungry and everyone (I presume) has multiple snack cravings throughout the day while walking past all those shops and carts. But, many of us are also working on a budget here and can’t afford to indulge every time we see a snack we want. For the budget-conscious visitor, you don’t have to starve or break the bank, because believe it or not, you are allowed to bring your own snacks and drinks into the Disney World parks. So stock up on your favorite snacks at grocery-store prices and fulfill your cravings without opening your wallet. If you’re worried about logistics, my friend Shannon over at WDW Prep School has a great, comprehensive article on how to get groceries for your Disney World trip.

Tip #2 – Let the entire family indulge at once

If you visit the Beaches and Cream Soda Shop over at Beach Club Resort you may see something that appears odd at first glance at the menu. That item is the Kitchen Sink that comes in at $28.99. Don’t be fooled by the name, this isn’t a reasonably priced piece of plumbing you would be ordering. It’s a massive ice cream sundae that serves four (at least). It’s loaded up with fresh scoops of Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Coffee, and Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream and then doused in every topping they have. It’s an epic way to meet the sweet tooth needs of everyone in your family at the same time (and great for photos, too).

Tip #1 – You don’t have to gain weight when you snack

It sometimes goes completely unnoticed, but there are actually health snack options at all the parks in Disney World. Some people go to Disney World to leave all diets behind and totally binge, but others may not want to (or be able to) indulge quite like that. For those people, you can always find at least one cart per park that will have things like fresh fruit and veggies, healthy dips, yogurts, hummus, and other healthy alternatives. You can find these healthy snacks at these locations:
