Time for the fifth and final day of my Positivity Challenge Disney style. Be sure to catch day 1, day 2, day 3, and day 4 if you missed them. I want to go out with a big bang for this final day so I am going to find a way to pick my single favorite attraction, my single favorite restaurant, and my single favorite food. Let’s start with my single favorite ride…
Favorite ride: Space Mountain
You may have seen this coming based on what I said at the very end of day 1. Although this may be my favorite ride at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World, the one at WDW has a slight edge for me. I really enjoy the dual tracks where you get to stare at your ramp rivals across the way until you both pludge into the darkness. And since you can’t see the track at all, it’s really hard to remember what’s about to happen next. Even after riding this 4 or 5 times, you still only have kind of a rough idea of what is about to happen next. Unlike, say, Thunder Mountain, where after once, you pretty much know how things are about to go down.
Favorite restaurant: Liberty Tree Tavern
I’ve already talked about Biergarten and Blue Bayou which were absolute contenders for this pick. I also wanted to pick something that isn’t so standard, like Le Cellier Steakhouse, for example. These factors helped me land on Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom (Orlando). The girlfriend and I ate here midway through our trip, and we just loved it. The revolutionary war era theming is so well done it was fun just exploring all the different rooms. The soft drinks come in big glass steins and the food is all exactly the kind of comfort food you may be needing after some super long wait times during the day at the Magic Kingdom. And, if you have room after your meal, the desserts were so delightfully delicious that we left both happy but super stuffed. I think we had to go back to the hotel and nap after but it was worth it. You can read my detailed review here, too!
Favorite Snack: Warm Cinnamon Roll
Let me just say that without a doubt, Mickey shaped beignets and cool Mint Julep are my favorite snack at any Disney park… but I already covered those in day one. And I don’t want to be cliche and go with the Dole Whip, either, so I had to dig a little deeper for this one. But then it dawned on my just how much I loved the gigantic cinnamon roles at Gaston’s Tavern in the new Fantasyland. OMG they were mouth watering cinnamon and sugar goodness. The things dreams are made of! And, I bet you didn’t even know they sold them, did you? Well, now you know, and can be sure to try them on your next visit to Walt Disney World.
Well, readers, that concludes my five day positivity challenge – Disney style! I hope you’ve enjoyed reading it as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it and maybe you even learned a few things here and there. Did I miss something you’d have surely included? Drop me a line in the comments.

Can’t say that I have a favorite ride, enjoy most of them. Love Liberty Tree Tavern, you’re right it’s comfort food at it’s finest. The cinnamon rolls are big enough for 4 of us to enjoy. One of my favorite things though is the Water Pageant. Love to sit on the beach, relax, and enjoy this. Yes, it’s the same every time, so what, it’s fun and seems to add something to the “quite” evening we plan once every stay along with the “far” view of Wishes.

I wrote a much more detailed review of Liberty Tree Tavern last week… couldn’t help myself. I feel like its one of the overlooked gems of Magic Kingdom.
